Where to download Kobo desktop installers
Earlier yesterday, I had been so confused about where or what the Kobo desktop installer is, that I had shot an email to their customer service people asking where to download the installer.
I don’t know why they don’t make this screamingly obvious on their website, but here goes.

I purchased a Slick e-reader at Big Lots. It is a ER700 model. Which Kobo link do I use?
Note: The windows desktop installer file was empty.

Following instructions I seem to have everything OK BUT when I go to look for the desktop installer it’s not there.
I am using Google Chrome as my Internet source as my Windows Explorer is not working. Would that effect my download?
I recently purchased The Lincoln Lawyer but have been unable to download it to my reader as the screen with the sync option will not come up on the screen.
Any Suggestions?

I installed my Kobo reader, and was happily reading books for a couple of weeks. I powered up one evening, and no longer had access to my books. I have tried everything, with no luck. I uninstalled this program, but now it will not install again. I got as far as 89% one time before the download quit. This is so frustrating. I have the eReader wireless, and I need help now!
i have the aluratek e reader and everytime i download a book off kobo on the sd card file it works but then i go into it and it says incompatible format im so confused help me
new have not loaded yet

got my ereader from Big Lots also, but there was no desktop app for windows on my software. i tried the bordersUS one and it didn’t work. which one do i use??
I downloaded several books in preparation for a lengthy hospital stay. When I wanted to read the second book, there were only the first two installed on my Kobo. What happened? I was charged for them.
We have purchased a “slick” Model # ER700 e-Reader for my mother. I cannot find a link to download the Borders app. Also when opening the file for Windows on the e-Reader, it was empty. Please help to solve this problem.

I got an ematic ebook reader, when looking it over I deleted my kobosepup app. How do I get this back !!!! help, also I tried and tried to get books onto my ereader have no Idea what I’m doing wrong I followed the directions, I got my music transfered but I want to read book, so frustrated!!!!
I have spent many hours trying to find or download a desktop installer but your info above does not tell me where to look if I am in Canada and purchased from Furture shop

I just purchased my ereader and when I try to install for a Windows computer it states that the folder is empty. I checked the recycle bin to make sure I did not delete it. What do I need to do. I just want to be able to download books. Thank you. Kathy Olszewski
